Two Children Among Nine Imported Covid-19 Cases Reported in Singapore

All Nine Imported Cases Are Asymptomatic and Under Stay-Home Notice

the Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed nine new imported Covid-19 cases in Singapore, bringing the total number of cases to 59,809. All the cases were asymptomatic and had been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in the country.

Among the nine cases were visitors from the UAE, India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Nigeria, including four Short-Term Visit Pass holders, two Work Permit holders, one Work Pass holder, one Dependant’s Pass holder, and one Permanent Resident. Notably, two of the imported cases were children, aged just three and one.

There were no new locally transmitted infections reported in the community.
