11 New Covid-19 Cases Confirmed in Singapore, with a Drop in Community and Unlinked Cases
The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed 11 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore on February 21, 2021, bringing the total number of cases to 59,869. Among the new cases, 10 were asymptomatic, and one was symptomatic.
One of the cases involved a Malaysian truck driver who tested positive for Covid-19 at the Woodlands Checkpoint. The driver had previously visited the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) casino, marking a new location linked to the recent wave of infections.
The data also showed a decline in new community cases, with only one reported in the past week compared to seven the previous week. Additionally, the number of unlinked community cases also decreased from four to one in the same period.
From February 15 to February 21, a total of 69 confirmed cases were reported. Of these, 43 tested positive for serology, 11 tested negative, and 15 results are still pending.
