A dramatic second half sees Netherlands hold off Ukraine’s comeback with a late header from Dumfries.
In an exhilarating Euro 2020 opener, the Netherlands triumphed 3-2 over Ukraine in a match that offered plenty of drama and excitement. After a goalless first half, the Dutch took a comfortable 2-0 lead through Wout Weghorst and Georginio Wijnaldum.
However, Ukraine fought back fiercely with two spectacular goals from Roman Yaremchuk and Andriy Yarmolenko, leveling the game at 2-2.
