The actress-turned-baker unveils her upcoming venture, Fanntasy, with signature tarts crafted from her family’s favorite flavors.
Fann Wong, the well-known actress and businesswoman, has announced the launch of her very own online pastry shop, Fanntasy, set to open on October 13, 2021, at 9:29 am. This marks her entry into the food and beverage industry, following her newfound passion for baking during last year’s circuit breaker.
At present, two premium tarts are confirmed on the menu: the Signature Valrhona Chocolate Tart and the Musang King Gula Melaka Tart. These creations are inspired by the favorite flavors of Fann’s husband, Christopher Lee, and their son, Zed.
Signature Valrhona Chocolate Tart: Made with Valrhona 70% dark chocolate crèmeux, almond sponge, butter sable, and gold dust, priced at S$58.
Musang King Gula Melaka Tart: Featuring Musang King pulp, homemade gula melaka sauce, and desiccated coconut, priced at S$68.
Though it’s unclear if Fann will be personally doing the baking, like fellow celebrity baker Jeanette Aw, fans can register their email addresses for updates until the official launch.
