South Korean star undergoes surgery and is now recovering
South Korean actress Park So-Dam, known for her role as Kim Ki-Jung/Jessica in the Oscar-winning film “Parasite,” has been diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer. The diagnosis came during a routine health check-up, according to her agency, ArtistCompany.
Park has successfully undergone surgery and is now recovering. However, she will unfortunately not be able to participate in the promotional activities for her upcoming crime-action film, “Special Delivery.”
In a statement, ArtistCompany expressed Park’s disappointment at being unable to join fans for the promotion of the much-anticipated film, which has garnered a lot of support from her followers.
