Police Investigate Damaging Incidents Involving Metal Projectiles in Yishun’s Adora Green
Over the past nine months, at least 10 flats in Yishun have been struck by metal ball bearings, causing significant damage to windows and glass doors. The incidents, which have raised concerns about public safety, have been reported primarily in the 8th to 10th floors of HDB blocks 347A and 347B at Adora Green, located on Yishun Avenue 11.
One resident, who was identified only by her last name Xu, recalled first hearing of the unusual occurrences in December. The following day, her own bedroom window was struck three times by the metal projectiles. In one of the cases, the damage to a flat’s glass was estimated to cost around S$900 to repair.
The police have launched an investigation to uncover the source of these dangerous incidents, as residents remain on high alert. Authorities are working to ensure the safety of the community, as these acts of vandalism pose significant risks to both property and personal safety.
