Community Cat Charms Public at Clementi Vaccination Centre

The Ginger Cat Waits Patiently for Its Turn, But Gets Gently Removed from Seat

A community cat in Clementi has won the hearts of many after trying to join the queue for a COVID-19 vaccination at the Clementi Community Centre. On July 11, a local named Wai Hong shared the delightful moment on Twitter, where the ginger cat could be seen calmly sitting in the waiting area among people who were waiting for their jabs.

The post quickly went viral, earning over 11,000 retweets, and the cat’s adorable antics were also shared on popular Instagram cat meme accounts. According to Wai Hong, the cat wandered into the vaccination tent and sat right in the middle of the waiting area, looking quite at home. At one point, the curious feline even approached a woman and peered into her large blue IKEA bag, much to her surprise.

While the cat’s attempt to get its turn at the vaccination was undeniably cute, it was gently escorted out of the area, as it was not quite eligible for the jab—no “meowderna” vaccine available, unfortunately.
