The actors continue their public sparring, with Patrick Lee firing back after Elvin Ng’s bullying claims.
The ongoing online dispute between Taiwanese actor Patrick Lee and Singaporean actor Elvin Ng has taken another turn, as Lee responds to Ng’s recent allegations of bullying on set. Despite his agency’s initial statement asking for no further comment, Lee took to social media to express his thoughts, fueling the fire of the already tense situation.
The feud began when Ng, during a talk show on Mediacorp, opened up about being bullied by a Taiwanese actor during a filming session. The identity of the actor was soon revealed to be Lee, prompting his management team to issue a public denial of Ng’s accusations.
However, the controversy didn’t stop there. On April 10, Lee posted a cryptic message on Instagram, seemingly directed at Ng, questioning how a Taiwanese actor could bully a Singaporean on their home turf. His social media post, which translated roughly to “A single Taiwanese goes [alone] to a place where it’s [all] Singaporeans… to bully a Singaporean?!”, has added more fuel to the fire, escalating the public feud even further.
