Ferrari Loses Control on East Coast Parkway, Collides with Bus and Damages Its Own Bumper

On a rainy day, a Ferrari 458 aquaplanes and crashes, highlighting the risks of speed and oversteering.

.Ferrari 458 lost control while traveling along Singapore’s East Coast Parkway expressway on a rainy day. The incident, captured in a video from a vehicle behind the Ferrari, demonstrated a series of oversteering errors leading to the crash.

Initially speeding on the right-most lane, the driver swerved slightly to the right. However, in attempting to correct the car’s path, the rear of the vehicle began fishtailing, a result of oversteering. Oversteering, often seen in drifting techniques, caused further instability. As the driver tried to steer back to the right, the rear end of the Ferrari fishtailed more sharply, causing it to veer into a bus and damaging its bumper.

The incident serves as a reminder of the dangers of speeding and loss of control, especially on wet roads, where hydroplaning can exacerbate handling issues.
