Five primary school students in Singapore have tested positive for Covid-19 after attending tuition classes at the Learning Point at Parkway Centre. The students, aged between seven and nine, are part of a growing cluster connected to a private tutor, Case 63131.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 52 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore on May 14, including 24 new community cases. Among these, 20 were linked to previous cases, and 16 had already been placed under quarantine.
In addition to the five students, other linked cases include a nurse at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and an operating theatre nurse at Sengkang General Hospital. Thirteen cases are also linked to a cleaner at Changi Airport Terminal 3.
The MOH has assured that investigations and contact tracing are ongoing to prevent further spread.
