Grab CEO’s Family Purchases S$40 Million Good Class Bungalow in Bin Tong Park

Anthony Tan’s Family Expands Property Holdings in Singapore’s Affluent District

Anthony Tan, the co-founder and CEO of Grab, and his family have made a significant property investment, purchasing a Good Class Bungalow (GCB) in the prestigious Bin Tong Park area for S$40 million. The deal was completed by Tan’s wife, Chloe Tong, and was reported by The Business Times.

The property, located in District 10 near Holland Village and Leedon Park, spans 21,637 square feet of freehold land. The bungalow, which was built in the 1990s, was purchased at a price of S$1,849 per square foot. It is believed the couple plans to redevelop the property.

GCBs are exclusive, with strict regulations set by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), and there are only 39 designated GCB areas across Singapore. The purchase highlights the couple’s growing wealth, with Anthony Tan poised to soon be a billionaire in Singapore dollars.
