In a heartwarming story from Singapore, a GrabFood rider went above and beyond his usual duties when he helped a group of office workers assemble their new office chair after they ran into trouble.
Mala Devi, one of the office workers, shared with Mothership that the team had difficulty assembling the chair despite following the instructions provided by the supplier. The chair was initially wrongly assembled, leading to confusion and frustration.
After struggling for a while, the workers decided to seek help. The GrabFood rider, who was making a delivery to the office, stepped in when he saw the problem and offered his assistance. Spending an hour to dismantle and reassemble the chair properly, the rider made sure it was ready for use.
In appreciation of his helpfulness, the office ladies gave him a tip for his extra efforts. Mala noted how grateful they were for his willingness to help and his kindness in taking time out of his busy schedule.
