M’sian Woman, 26, Allegedly Called ‘Dog Slave’ & ‘B*tch’ by Boss, Asked Why She Won’t ‘Give [Him] Her Body’

Dance instructor reports sexual harassment and mistreatment to authorities.

A 26-year-old Malaysian dance instructor, Ker Qian, has reported sexual harassment and verbal abuse by her boss, including being referred to as a “dog slave” and “b*tch” while being asked inappropriate questions, such as why she wouldn’t “give [him] her body.” The incident occurred after Ker was approached by the father of one of her former students, who had invested money into opening a dance studio in Selangor, Malaysia.

In a Facebook video posted on June 12, Ker shared that the man introduced her as the “future owner” of the studio without her agreement, which left her stunned. Despite her reservations, she agreed to continue the conversation, and the man later explained that he had spent a large sum on the studio and wanted someone passionate about dance and working with children to run it.

Ker, however, had concerns after hearing from several friends who had worked with him in the past and faced negative outcomes. She has since filed a police report, and authorities are investigating the case.
