Tables were spaced to ensure safe distances, and the sense of excitement was palpable as the community enjoyed a long-awaited return to normalcy.
The relaxation of measures allowed groups of two to dine together at open-air hawker centers and coffee shops, regardless of their vaccination status. This was a significant milestone, as Singaporeans had been confined to takeaway and delivery options for weeks.
