Limited-edition collectibles celebrating Singapore’s iconic neighbourhoods and symbols available for purchase in 2025.
In celebration of Singapore’s SG60 anniversary, the Singapore Mint has launched an exclusive commemorative collection that honours the nation’s rich heritage and iconic symbols. The collection, which will be rolled out throughout 2025, features limited-edition silver medallions, gold-plated bookmarks, and exciting new blind boxes.
The collection will be available for purchase both online and at physical stores, including Coin Gallery, Chinatown Point, and Suntec City Mall. Additionally, it will be showcased at the Singapore International Coin Fair from March 21 to 23 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre.
A highlight of the collection is the “Jalan Jalan Through Heritage Districts of Singapore,” which includes 1 oz 999 fine silver medallions and gold-plated coloured bookmarks representing five iconic districts: Changi, Jurong, Tiong Bahru, Toa Payoh, and Queenstown. Each silver medallion is limited to only 2,000 pieces per design, with the retail price of bookmarks set at S$15, and the silver medallions priced at S$130.
For collectors, a unique “Dazzling Merlion” 1 oz silver proof ingot will also be available, featuring a multifaceted Merlion design. With just 1,000 pieces made, each ingot will be priced at S$130.
Adding an element of surprise, the Mint is also releasing the Mr Merlion Mystery Medallion Blind Box. Priced at S$16.90 each, these blind boxes contain surprise medallions in varying rarities, from regular silver to rare rose gold and an ultra-rare 24k gold-plated design. Available from April 2025, the medallions in each box also serve as keychains.
To celebrate Singapore’s first multinational UNESCO inscription, the Mint will also offer a special Kebaya magnet display set in May 2025. The seven-piece set, priced at S$80, showcases different Kebaya styles, reflecting the nation’s traditions and cultural heritage.
