Singapore Reports 3,577 New Covid-19 Cases and 3 More Deaths

Three more fatalities, aged between 68 and 102 years, bring the total number of deaths to 113,381.

Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) reported 3,577 new Covid-19 cases as of 12pm on Wednesday, October 6. This brings the country’s total number of cases to 113,381.

Out of the newly confirmed cases, 2,932 were community infections, and 630 were linked to migrant worker dormitories. The number of local cases included 664 seniors aged over 60, highlighting the continuing impact of the virus on the elderly population.

Additionally, three more deaths related to Covid-19 were reported, with those who passed away aged between 68 and 102 years. These deaths bring further attention to the vulnerable groups in the population as the country grapples with the ongoing pandemic.
